    Reduction of Rates
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering a petition filed November 16, 2015 by Home Depot, U.S.A., Inc. to reduce the rates charged by Independent Water Works, Inc.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 89(c)
    Subject:
    Reduction of rates.
    Purpose:
    To consider the reduction of rates charged by Independent Water Works, Inc.
    Text of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering a petition filed November 16, 2015 by Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. (Home Depot) to reduce the rates charged by Independent Water Works, Inc. (the Company). The Company provides metered water service and fire protection service to 15 commercial customers in a shopping center known as “The Highlands” located in the Town of Southeast, Putnam County. The Commission may adopt, reject, or modify, in whole or in part, the relief proposed and may resolve related matters.
