    Waiver of 16 NYCRR Sections 894.1 to 894.4
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 11/27/12, the PSC adopted an order approving the Town of Cameron’s (Steuben County) request for waiver of the rules contained in 16 NYCRR sections 894.1, 894.2, 894.3, and 894.4 to expedite the cable television franchising process with Time Warner Cable.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 216(1)
    Subject:
    Waiver of 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 to 894.4.
    Purpose:
    To approve waiver of the rules contained in 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 to 894.4 to expedite the cable television franchising process.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on November 27, 2012 adopted an order approving the Town of Cameron’s (Steuben County) request for waiver of the rules contained in 16 NYCRR §§ 894.1, 894.2, 894.3, and 894.4 to expedite the cable television franchising process with Time Warner Cable, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
