PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

Action taken:

Amendment of sections 221.1 and 222.2 of Title 1 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Agriculture and Markets Law, sections 18 and 179

Subject:

Provision by municipalities of certain weights and measures devices to municipal directors of weights and measures.

Purpose:

To lessen the burden of municipalities by requiring fewer devices to be maintained and allowing for easier calibration of devices.
