PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of Part 98 (Regulation No. 147) of Title 11 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Insurance Law, sections 201, 301, 1304, 1308, 4217, 4218, 4240 and 4517
Subject:
Rules governing valuation of life insurance reserves.
Purpose:
To include the provisions of the adopted new version of Actuarial Guideline 38 to be in effect for policies issued on or after Jan. 1, 2007 and prior to Jan. 1, 2011.
