PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On December 10, 2008 the Commission adopted an order approving the joint petition by Rainbow Water Company, Inc. and Sunrise Ridge Water Company to surcharge its customers $30.00 per quarter for six years beginning January 1, 2009.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1)(f), 89-c(1) and (10)
Subject:
Water rates and charges.
Purpose:
To approve a $30.00 per quarter surcharge for six years, beginning January 1, 2009.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on December 10, 2008, adopted an order approving the joint petition by Rainbow Water Company, Inc. and Sunrise Ridge Water Company to surcharge its customers $30.00 per quarter for six years beginning January 1, 2009, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
