PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

Action taken:

Amendment of Parts 127 and 139 of Title 15 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Vehicle and Traffic Law, sections 215(a), 1194(2)(c) and (e)

Subject:

Chemical test refusal hearings.

Purpose:

To establish criteria for the suspension of drivers' licenses for motorists who have refused to submit to a chemical test.
