    Master Metering of Water to a Multiple Dwelling by the Village of Spring Valley
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part an application by the Village of Spring Valley to allow the developer CPC Resources Incorporated for a waiver to section 3.4(D) of the tariff of United Water New York which requires installation of separate water meters for each dwelling within an apartment, co-operative or condominium development constructed on or after April 15, 1991.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 65(1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (12) and (14)
    Subject:
    Master metering of water to a multiple dwelling.
    Purpose:
    To install separate water meters for each dwelling within an apartment, co-operative or condominium development constructed on or after April 15, 1991.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission will consider a request by the Village of Spring Valley, to waive the requirement of United Water New York, to install separate water meters for each premise located at North Main St., Spring Valley, New York a newly developed affordable housing complex.
