    Net Metering for Micro-Combined Heat and Power Generating Systems
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Commission is considering a proposed filing by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to make various changes in the rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its Schedule for Electric Service, PSC No. 9 — Electricity.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 66(12)
    Subject:
    Net Metering for Micro-Combined Heat and Power Generating Systems.
    Purpose:
    To effectuate change to PSL Section 66-j in relation to net metering for micro-combined heat and power generating systems.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject, in whole or in part, a proposed filing by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to effectuate the change to Public Service Law Section 66-j in relation to net metering for micro-combined heat and power generating systems. The proposed amendments have an effective date of February 26, 2010.
