    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed action:
    The commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, the petition of rehearing filed by Verizon New York Inc. (Verizon) regarding its cable television franchise with the Town of Ossining, Westchester County, concerning audits and inspection of records.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 222(1) and (4)
    Subject:
    Petition for rehearing regarding audits and record inspections.
    Purpose:
    To consider the petition for rehearing by Verizon.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, the Petition for Rehearing filed by Verizon New York Inc. (Verizon) regarding its cable television franchise with the Town of Ossining, Westchester County, concerning audits and inspection of records.
