PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of Parts 426, 427, 428 and 431 of Title 18 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Social Services Law, sections 20(3)(d), 34(3)(f) and 407(4)
Subject:
Standards for reimbursement for foster care maintenance and/or adoption assistance.
Purpose:
To bring Office of Children and Family Services regulations current with Federal regulations concerning the conditions for eligibility for receiving Federal reimbursement for certain foster care and adoption expenses, and clarify the definition of special needs child.
