PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a filing of Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to further revise its tariff in order to effectuate Amendments to Public Service Law Concerning Green Jobs-Green New York On-Bill Recovery in case 11-G-0453.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 42(3), 65(6) and 66-m
Subject:
On-Bill Recovery Mechanism.
Purpose:
To eliminate references to late payment charges applicable to NYSERDA Loan Installment Charges billed by the utility.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering whether to adopt, modify, or reject, in whole or in part, or to take other action regarding a filing by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to further revise its tariff in order to effectuate Amendments to the Public Service Law Concerning Green Jobs-Green New York On-Bill Recovery in case 11-G-0453. The revisions include the elimination of references to late payment charges applicable to the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority Loan Installment Program in an effort to ensure compliance with federal banking regulations.
