PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

Action taken:

Amendment of section 79.20 of Title 15 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Vehicle and Traffic Law, sections 215(a), 301(a), (c), 302(a) and (e)

Subject:

Inspection of stretch limousines.

Purpose:

To require DOT inspections of vehicles that have been modified or "stretched".
