    Whether to Permit the Use of the Eaton Power Xpert Multi-Point Meter for Submeter Applications
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, deny or modify, in whole or in part, a petition filed by Eaton Corporation for approval to use the Eaton Power Xpert Multi—Point Meter for submetering applications.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 67(1)
    Subject:
    Whether to permit the use of the Eaton Power Xpert Multi-Point Meter for submeter applications.
    Purpose:
    Pursuant to 16 NYCRR Parts 93 and 96, the Commission must approve the Eaton Power Xpert Multi-Point for electric submetering.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to grant, deny or modify, in whole or part, the petition filed by Eaton Corporation for approval to use the Eaton Power Xpert Multi-Point Meter for submetering applications, and any other related matters.
