    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed action:
    The commission is considering whether to grant, in whole or in part, the petition for rehearing, filed by Verizon New York Inc., of the Dec. 18, 2006, order resolving interconnection agreement issues, in the Manhattan Telephone Corp.—Verizon New York Inc. arbitration.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 94(2); 47 U.S.C. 252
    Subject:
    Petition for rehearing of arbitration order.
    Purpose:
    To consider the petition for rehearing.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Commission is considering whether to grant, in whole or in part, the Petition for Rehearing, filed by Verizon New York Inc., of the December 18, 2006, Order Resolving Interconnection Agreement Issues, in the Manhattan Telephone Corp.—Verizon New York Inc. arbitration.
