Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. Interested parties may inquire if they appear on the Abandoned Property Listing by contacting the Office of Unclaimed Funds, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at:

Brighton Fire District
The Brighton Fire District is soliciting proposals from administrative service agencies relating to trust service, administration and/or funding of a Deferred Compensation Plan for the employees of Brighton Fire District. They must meet the requirements of section 457 of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 5 of the State Finance Law, including all rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto.

Department of Environmental Conservation
Pursuant to Title 3, Article 49 of the Environmental Conservation Law, the Department of Environmental Conservation hereby gives public notice of the following:
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 49-0305(9) of the Environmental Conservation Law, of the Department's intent to acquire a Conservation Easement from the City of New York, over certain lands located in the following counties: Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Greene, Delaware, Ulster, Schoharie and Sullivan, New York. These conservation easements are to be acquired, in accordance with the New York City Watershed Memorandum of Agreement dated January 21, 1997, over lands acquired in fee by the City of New York between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2009.

Insurance Department Invitation for Public Comment
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 25, the New York State Insurance Department invites comments from regulated entities and interested parties to identify existing regulations that impose unnecessary, burdensome or excessive costs, paperwork, reporting or other requirements.
Comments are sought that describe and quantify the burden and suggest appropriate remedies that the agency may undertake to eliminate or amend regulations that are unnecessary, unbalanced, unwise, duplicative or unduly burdensome.

Involved reconstruction of front entrance stairs to a series of row houses. These 6 existing buildings contain R-2 (multiple dwelling) occupancies, are 3 stories in height of Type IIIB (ordinary) construction, each having a cumulative gross floor area of 3,000 square feet. The buildings are located at 29, 43, 45, 47, 49 & 51 Elberon Place, City of Albany, Albany County, State of New York.
2010-0044 Matter of Lee C. Kindlon, Kindlon Shanks & Associates 74 Chapel Street, Albany, NY 12207 for a variance concerning public safety including the procedure for placing an elevator out of service.
Involved is the process of altering an elevator to the out of service status. The elevator is located in an existing building that contains a B (business) occupancy, is 3 stories in height, of Type IB (fire resistive) construction having a cumulative gross floor area 22,000 square feet. The building is located at 47 Chapel Street, City of Albany, Albany County, State of New York.
2010-0045 Matter of Rick Wilson, Uncle Ricky's Bagel Shop, PO Box 1268, Troy, NY 12181, for a variance concerning fire safety issues including the discharge of kitchen exhaust onto neighboring properties.
Involved is the alteration of an existing building containing an A-2 (assembly) occupancy, 3 stories in height, of Type IIIB (ordinary) construction having a cumulative gross floor area of 5,000 square feet. The building is located at 1809 Fifth Avenue, City of Troy, Rensselaer County, State of New York.
2010-0047 Matter of Kenneth Garrison, 1985 Helderberg Ave., Schenectady, NY 12306 for a variance concerning fire safety issues including the required distance separation to an interior lot line of an accessory structure.
Involved is the construction of a building containing a U (utility) occupancy, 1 story in height, of Type VB (wood frame) construction having a gross floor area of 170 square feet. The building is located at 1985 Helderberg Ave, Town of Rotterdam, Schenectady County, State of New York.
2010-0048 Matter of Richard Peckham, Vice President, CSArch, 40 Beaver St. Albany, NY 12207 for a variance concerning fire safety issues including the use of light transmitting plastic that has a smoke developed index that is non-compliant.
Involved is the construction of a greenhouse on public school grounds. The building contains a E (educational) occupancy, is 1 story in height, of Type 2b (non-combustible) construction having a gross floor area of 390 square feet. The building is located adjacent to the Averill Park High School, 146 Gettle Road, Town of Sand Lake, Rensselaer County, State of New York.
