PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 2/23/16, the PSC adopted an order making findings on the repowering of the Cayuga Generating Facility.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1)(b), (2), 65(1), 66(1), (2), (4), (5), (9) and (12)
Subject:
Repowering of the Cayuga Generating Facility.
Purpose:
To make findings on the repowering of the Cayuga Generating Facility.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on February 23, 2016, adopted an order making findings on the repowering of the Cayuga Generating Facility where the proposals filed by Cayuga Operating Company LLC for refueling and repowering of the Cayuga Generating Facility is not in the public interest and should not be pursued further, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
