    Intercarrier Agreement to Interconnect Telephone Networks for the Provisioning of Local Exchange Service
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, a modification filed by Verizon New York Inc. and Broadview Networks, Inc. to revise the interconnection agreement effective on April 1, 2008.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 94(2)
    Subject:
    Intercarrier agreement to interconnect telephone networks for the provisioning of local exchange service.
    Purpose:
    To amend the Verizon New York Inc. and Broadview Networks, Inc. interconnection agreement.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Commission approved an Interconnection Agreement between Verizon New York Inc. and Broadview Networks, Inc. in July 2003. The companies subsequently have jointly filed amendments to clarify the provision regarding conflict between this Amendment and the Interconnection Agreements.
