PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a proposed filing by New York State Electric and Gas Corporation to make various changes regarding commodity programs.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Charges for commodity.
Purpose:
To charge customers for commodity costs.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject, in whole or in part, a proposed filing by New York State Electric and Gas Corporation to not renew their Fixed Price Option for 2010 and provide a new market-based supply service as the sole offering for 2010. In addition New York State Electric and Gas Corporation proposes to implement an interim adjustment to their non-bypassable wires charge effective July 1, 2009, with a potential interim adjustment on October 1, 2009.
