PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On March 12, 2009, the PSC approved a request filed by Bristol Water Works Corporation to make a change in the rates and charges contained in its tariff schedule P.S.C. No. 3—Water, to become effective to April 1, 2009.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1)(f), 89-c(1) and (10)
Subject:
Water rates and charges.
Purpose:
To approve an increase in annual revenues by $11,930 or 10.46%.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission on March 12, 2009, adopted an order approving the request of Bristol Water Works Corporation, to increase its tariff rates to produce additional annual revenues of $11,930 or 10.46%, effective April 1, 2009, and allow the company to change its current residential rate structure and increase its restoration of service charge, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
