Operation IMPACT (2010 – 2011)
The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications for awards to support Operation IMPACT for the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 in the 17 New York State counties outside of New York City with the highest 3-year average Uniform Crime Report (UCR) Part I violent and property crime. Subject to State appropriation authority, approximately $13.5 million is available for awards.
IMPACT partnerships within the following 17 New York State counties are eligible to apply: Albany, Broome, Chautauqua, Dutchess, Erie, Monroe, Nassau, Niagara, Oneida, Onondaga, Orange, Rensselaer, Rockland, Schenectady, Suffolk, Ulster and Westchester.
Applications received on or before 12:00 Noon (EDT) May 12, 2010 via DCJS' on-line Grants Management System (GMS) will be accepted.
