PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The PSC is considering whether to approve or reject a proposal filed by TDS Telecommunications Corp. ("TDS Telecom") for approval of an Interconnection Agreement with Time Warner ResCom of New York, LLC, executed on September 1, 2009.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 94(2)
Subject:
Interconnection of the networks between TDS Telecom and Time Warner ResCom of NY for local exchange service and exchange access.
Purpose:
To review the terms and conditions of the negotiated agreement between TDS Telecom and Time Warner ResCom of NY.
Substance of proposed rule:
TDS Telecommunications Corporation on behalf of its New York operating affiliates (collectively "TDS Telecom") and Time Warner ResCom of New York, LLC have reached a negotiated agreement whereby TDS Telecom and Time Warner ResCom of New York, LLC will interconnect their networks at mutually agreed upon points of interconnection to provide Telephone Exchange Services and Exchange Access to their respective customers. The Agreement establishes obligations, terms and conditions under which the parties will interconnect their networks lasting for the term of an underlying agreement.
