PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a proposed filing by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to make various changes in the rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its Schedules for Electric Service, P.S.C. No. 9, PASNY No. 4 and EDDS No. 2.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Surcharge for Stimulus Projects.
Purpose:
Establish a surcharge for the recovery of costs associated with New York Stimulus Projects.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering a proposal filed by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) to establish a surcharge for the recovery of costs associated with New York Stimulus Projects in compliance with Commission Order issued July 27, 2009 in Case 09-E-0310. The proposed filing has an effective date of June 30, 2010. The Commission may adopt in whole or in part, modify or reject Con Edison’s proposal.
