PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
Modify the existing rate plan of The Brooklyn Union Gas Company d/b/a National Grid NY pursuant to the terms of a Joint Proposal filed on February 22, 2013.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 3, 5, 65 and 66
Subject:
Modification of earnings and other provisions of existing rate plan.
Purpose:
To consider a joint proposal that modifies certain elements of an existing rate plan.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering adopting the terms of a Joint Proposal filed on February 22, 2013, that would modify the rate plan of The Brooklyn Union Gas Company d/b/a National Grid including extending the rate plan for two additional years. The Public Service Commission can either reject or adopt the Joint Proposal, in whole or in part, or as otherwise modified.
