    Request to Extend, to 12/31/13, an Electric Service Agreement
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 3/15/12, the PSC adopted an order conditionally approving the petition of Nucor Steel Auburn, Inc. and New York State Electric & Gas Corporation to extend, to 12/31/13, their Electric Service Agreement.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 5(1)(b), 64, 65(1), (2), (3), 66(1), (5), (9), (10), (12) and (12-b)
    Subject:
    Request to extend, to 12/31/13, an Electric Service Agreement.
    Purpose:
    To approve, conditionally, a request to extend, to 12/31/13, an Electric Service Agreement.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on March 15, 2012 adopted an order conditionally approving the petition of Nucor Steel Auburn, Inc. (Nucor) and New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG) request to extend, to December 31, 2013, their Electric Service Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
