    Request to Extend the Term of and Enter into a New Credit Facility
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 3/17/16, the PSC adopted an order approving New York Independent System Operator, Inc.'s (NYISO) request to extend the term of its credit facilities and enter into a new unsecured term loan credit facility.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(2), 65(1), 66(1), (2), (4), (5) and 69
    Subject:
    Request to extend the term of and enter into a new credit facility.
    Purpose:
    To approve NYISO's request to extend the term of and enter into a new credit facility.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on March 17, 2016, adopted an order approving New York Independent System Operator, Inc.'s request to extend the term of its credit facilities, consisting of a $50 million revolving line of credit and a $100 million term loan facility, for an additional one-year period until December 31, 2018, and to increase the principal amount available under the term loan facility by $25 million, to a maximum of $125 million, and enter into a new unsecured term loan credit facility in the amount of $30 million, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
