PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The PSC is considering whether to approve or reject a proposal filed by Frontier Communications of AuSable Valley, et al. ("Frontier") for approval of an Interconnection Agreement with Finger Lakes Technologies Group executed on February 5, 2010.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 94(2)
Subject:
Interconnection of the networks between "Frontier" and Finger Lakes Technologies for local exchange service and exchange access.
Purpose:
To review the terms and conditions of the negotiated agreement between Frontier and Finger Lakes Technologies.
Substance of proposed rule:
Frontier Communications of AuSable Valley, Inc., Frontier Communications of Sylvan Lake, Inc., Frontier Communications of New York, Inc., Frontier Communications of Seneca-Gorham, Inc. and Ogden Telephone Company (“Frontier”) and Finger Lakes Technologies Group, Inc. have reached a negotiated agreement whereby “Frontier” and Finger Lakes Technologies Group, Inc. will interconnect their networks at mutually agreed upon points of interconnection to provide Telephone Exchange Services and Exchange Access to their respective customers. The Agreement establishes obligations, terms and conditions under which the parties will interconnect their networks lasting for the term of an underlying agreement.
