PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a petition by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid (NiMo) for a limited waiver of the provisions of Section 720-6.5(b) of 16 NYCRR - Gas Cost Adjustment Clauses.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Section 720-6.5(b) of 16 NYCRR - Gas Cost Adjustment Clauses.
Purpose:
To allow for the submission of NiMo's Gas Adjustment Clauses on less than three days' notice.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject, in whole or in part, a petition filed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid (NiMo or the company) for a limited waiver of Section 720-6.5(b) of 16 NYCRR - Gas Cost Adjustment Clauses which requires that cost of gas statements be filed three days prior to the date on which they take effect. The Commission may adopt, reject, or modify, in whole or in part, NiMo’s petition.
