    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed action:
    Amendment of Appendix(es) 2 of Title 4 NYCRR.
    Statutory authority:
    Civil Service Law, section 6(1)
    Subject:
    Jurisdictional classification.
    Purpose:
    To delete positions from the non-competitive class in the Department of Mental Hygiene and the Department of Taxation and Finance.
    Text of proposed rule:
    Amend Appendix(es) 2 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the non-competitive class, in the Department of Mental Hygiene under the subheading “Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services,” by deleting therefrom the position of φSupervisor of Substance Abuse Outreach and Referral (1); and, in the Department of Taxation and Finance, by deleting therefrom the position of φDirector of Tax Compliance (1).
