PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
The commission, on April 23, 2008, adopted an order approving in part the terms and conditions of a joint proposal dated Feb. 13, 2008 by staff of the Department of Public Service, United Water Owego Inc. and United Water Nichols Inc. for a three year rate plan for the surviving corporation of United Water Owego-Nichols Inc.

Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1)(f), 89-c(1) and (10)
Subject:
Water rates and charges.
Purpose:
To adopt in part the terms and conditions of a joint proposal that provides for a three year rate plan for the surviving corporation of United Water Owego-Nichols Inc.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission adopted an order approving in part the terms and conditions of a joint proposal dated Feb. 13, 2008 by staff of the Department of Public Service, United Water Owego Inc. and United Water Nichols Inc. for a three year rate plan for the surviving corporation of United Water Owego-Nichols Inc., subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
