PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:

Proposed Action:

Amendment of Appendix 1 of Title 4 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Civil Service Law, section 6(1)

Subject:

Jurisdictional Classification.

Purpose:

To add a subheading and to classify a position in the exempt class.

Text of proposed rule:

Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the Executive Department, by adding thereto the subheading “Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs,” and the position of Director Public Information.
