PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of Part 44 of Title 6 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Environmental Conservation Law, sections 3-0301, 13-0105 and 13-0329
Subject:
Revised closed season for the harvest and landing of lobster from Lobster Management Area 4 and mandatory V-notch rule.
Purpose:
To implement ASMFC American Lobster Fishery Management Plan Addendum XVII and allow the lobster stock to rebuild.
