PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of section 175.41 of Title 8 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Education Law, sections 207 (not subdivided) and 3602(6)(e)(1)
Subject:
Analysis of average interest rates applied to capital debt incurred by the New York City for school purposes.
Purpose:
To conform the commissioner's regulation to changes to statute and provide an appropriate methodology for computation of the true cost of debt issued by New York City for the purpose of financing school construction.
