    Albany County
The County of Albany and the Capital/Saratoga Energy $mart Communities Program SM are offering a unique opportunity for Energy Efficiency Professionals, Renewable Energy Vendors, Environmental Groups and Housing Organizations.
On May 19, 2007 Albany County will be hosting an Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Housing Fair Day at the Albany County Hockey Facility. The Fair is an educational event for residents and businesses to gain valuable information on how to reduce energy consumption, reduce costs and reduce the impact on the environment. The Fair will also provide information on affordable housing and community services.
The facility provides ample space to showcase your products and services as well as interact with consumers from around the region. The rink is ground level allowing for easy access. Food concessions will be open and free parking is also available. Large events like this one have a regional influence and attract many consumers from the Capital Region and beyond.
The Albany County Hockey Facility is not only a convenient location for the Fair, but it also provides a great demonstration of renewable solar power at work. In 2005, the County partnered with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to install photovoltaic panels on the roof of the facility.
