    Water Rates and Charges by Westbrook Water Corp.
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, or modify, a tariff revision filed by Westbrook Water Corp. to increase its flat rate in its tariff schedule, P.S.C. No. 3—Water to become effective Sept. 1, 2007.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1)(f), 89-c(1) and (10)
    Subject:
    Water rates and charges.
    Purpose:
    To increase Westbrook Water Corp.'s annual revenues by about $13,527 or 34.1 percent.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    On April 17, 2007, Westbrook Water Corp. (Westbrook or the company) electronically filed, to become effective September 1, 2007, P.S.C. No. 3—Water, 3rd Revised Leaf No. 12 to increase its annual revenues by and about $13,527 or 34.1%. The annual flat rate service charge for residential service would increase from $351.40 to $471 and would be billed quarterly in advance at $117.75. Westbrook's proposed tariff is available on the Commission's Home Page on the World Wide Web (www.dps.state.ny.us) — located under Commission Documents — Tariffs. The company provides flat rate water service to approximately 113 customers in the Town of Deerpark, Orange County. The Commission may approve or reject, in whole or in part, or modify, the company's proposed tariff revision.
