PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The PSC is considering whether to approve, modify or reject the Petition of The Heart of the Catskills Communication, Inc. d/b/a MTC Cable to waive sections 894.1, 894.2, 894.3, and 894.4 regarding franchising procedures for the Town of Conesville, NY.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 216(1)
Subject:
Waiver of 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4(b)(2).
Purpose:
To allow the Town of Conesville to waive certain preliminary franchising procedures to expedite the franchising process.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject the Petition of The Heart of the Catskills Communication, Inc. d/b/a MTC Cable to waive sections 894.1, 894.2, 894.3, and 894.4 regarding franchising procedures for the Town of Conesville, Schoharie County, New York.
