    Use of the Badger E Series Ultrasonic Cold Water Stainless Steel Meter, in Residential Fire Service Applications
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering a petition filed by New York American Water Company on April 22, 2016, to use the Badger E-Series Ultrasonic Cold Water Stainless Steel Meter, in residential fire service applications.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 89-d(1)
    Subject:
    Use of the Badger E Series Ultrasonic Cold Water Stainless Steel Meter, in residential fire service applications.
    Purpose:
    To consider the use of the Badger E Series Ultrasonic Cold Water Stainless Steel Meter in fire service applications.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering a petition filed by New York American Water Company to use the Badger E-Series Ultrasonic Cold Water Stainless Steel Meter, in commercial and residential closed looped fire service applications. The Commission may approve, modify, or reject the relief proposed, and may consider other related matters.
