    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    Amendment of Appendix 1 of Title 4 NYCRR.
    Statutory authority:
    Civil Service Law, section 6(1)
    Subject:
    Jurisdictional Classification.
    Purpose:
    To classify positions in the exempt class.
    Text of proposed rule:
    Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the Department of Labor, by increasing the number of positions of Special Assistant from 8 to 13.
