    Additional Funding for Expenditures and Increased Surcharges
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, modify, or reject, a petition filed by Chaffee Water Works Company for additional funding for expenditures to finish the rehabilitation of the water company. Additional surcharges are needed.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 89-c and 89-f
    Subject:
    Additional funding for expenditures and increased surcharges.
    Purpose:
    To allow or disallow Chaffee Water Works Company additional funding for expenditures and higher surcharges.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Commission is considering whether to approve or reject in whole or in part or modify a request sought in a petition filed by Chaffee Water Works Company for additional funding for expenditures to rehabilitate and operate the water supply company. In order to pay for the additional loan financing, the company requests additional surcharges.
