    Amendments to PSC No. 4—Electricity, Eff. 6/1/12 to Establish Net Metering Provisions for Solar/Wind Generation
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 5/17/12, the PSC adopted an order approving The Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre's amendments to PSC No. 4—Electricity, effective 6/1/12 to establish net metering provisions for customers who own or operate solar/wind electric generating equipment.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 66(12)
    Subject:
    Amendments to PSC No. 4—Electricity, eff. 6/1/12 to establish net metering provisions for solar/wind generation.
    Purpose:
    To approve amendments to PSC No. 4—Electricity, eff. 6/1/12 to establish net metering provisions for solar/wind generation.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on May 17, 2012 adopted an order approving The Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre's amendments to PSC No. 4—Electricity, effective June 1, 2012, to establish net metering provisions for customers who own or operate solar or wind electric generating equipment.
