PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

Action taken:

Amendment of sections 80-2.9, 80-4.3 and 80-5.18 of Title 8 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Education Law, sections 207(not subdivided), 305(1), (2), (7), 3001(2), 3004(1) and 3006(1)(b)

Subject:

Supplementary bilingual education extension for certificates in classroom teaching service and pupil personnel services.

Purpose:

Establish a supplementary bilingual education extension, to provide bilingual instruction/service in demonstrated shortage area.
