    Approval of an Amendment to an Electric Service Agreement
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering a joint petition from New York State Electric and Gas Corporation and Nucor Steel Auburn, Inc. requesting approval of an amendment to an electric service agreement.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 5(1)(b), 64, 65(1), 66(1), (5), (9), (10), (12) and (12-b)
    Subject:
    Approval of an amendment to an electric service agreement.
    Purpose:
    Consideration of the approval an amendment to an electric service agreement.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering a joint petition from New York State Electric and Gas Corporation and Nucor Steel Auburn, Inc. requesting approval of an amendment to an electric service agreement, and recovery in regulated electric rates of certain costs related to the agreement. The Commission may adopt, reject or modify, in whole or in part, the relief proposed.
