    Petition to Transfer Systems, Franchises and Assets
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Commission is considering whether to grant, deny, modify or condition, in whole or in part, the petition of Comcast and Charter for approval to transfer telephone and cable systems, franchises and assets.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 99(2), 100(1) and 222
    Subject:
    Petition to transfer systems, franchises and assets.
    Purpose:
    To consider the Comcast and Charter transfer of systems, franchise and assets.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to grant, deny, or modify in whole or in part, the joint petition filed by Comcast Corporation (Comcast) and Charter Communications, Inc. (Charter) seeking approval under Public Service Law (PSL) §§ 99, 100 and 222 to transfer certain Charter cable and telephone systems, franchises and assets to Comcast.
