PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of section 443.3(a)(4) and (5) of Title 18 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Social Services Law, sections 20(3)(d), 34(3)(f) and 378(5)
Subject:
Foster Family Boarding Homes.
Purpose:
Provide enhanced flexibility in regard to sleeping arrangements for sibling groups in foster homes.

Assessment of Public Comment
The Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) received formal comments from one voluntary authorized agency in New York City. The comments were in support of the regulation. As such, the regulation contains no changes based on the comments received.
