    Rehearing of the Approval of the Transfer of Ownership of the Seneca Lake Gas Storage Facility
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 6/16/11, the PSC adopted an order granting in part and denying in part the petition for rehearing from New York State Electric & Gas Corporation for the transfer of ownership of Seneca Lake Gas Storage Facility.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 70
    Subject:
    Rehearing of the approval of the transfer of ownership of the Seneca Lake Gas Storage Facility.
    Purpose:
    To grant in part and deny in part the petition for rehearing from New York State Electric & Gas Corporation.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on June 16, 2011, adopted an order granting, in part, the petition for rehearing of New York State Electric & Gas Corporation of the Commission’s March 4, 2011 order approving transfers upon modifications and conditions and providing for lightened regulation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
