    Transfer of Cable Entities
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 6/15/16, the PSC adopted an order approving Altice N.V. (Altice) and Cablevision Systems Corporation's (Cablevision) joint petition of a holding company level transaction transferring control of Cablevision's entities operating in New York to Altice.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 99(2), 100(1), 101 and 222
    Subject:
    Transfer of cable entities.
    Purpose:
    To approve Altice and Cablevision's joint petition to transfer Cablevision's cable entities in New York to Altice.

    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on June 15, 2016, adopted an order approving Altice N.V. (Altice) and Cablevision Systems Corporation's joint petition of a holding company level transaction transferring control of Cablevision Lightpath, Inc. and Cablevision System Corporation’s cable entities operating in New York to Altice, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
