PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 6/18/09, the PSC adopted an order approving changes to the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) Program by reallocating $15.6 million of an approximate $110 million cash flow balance to fund the solar photovoltaic program to respond to increased demand.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(2), 66(1) and (2)
Subject:
Reallocation of funds for the solar photovoltaic program.
Purpose:
To approve changes to RPS for the reallocation of funds for the solar photovoltaic program.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on June 18, 2009, adopted an order approving changes to the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) Program by reallocating $15.6 million of an approximate $110 million cash flow balance. $15 million to fund the solar photovoltaic program to respond to increased demand and changing market needs for this renewable energy technology and $600,000 for increased evaluation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
