PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On June 18, 2008, the Public Service Commission adopted an order approving the revision of the definition of a major outage under Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.'s reliability performance mechanism (RPM).
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections 65(1) and 66(1)
Subject:
Definition of “major outage.”
Purpose:
To adopt revision of the definition of major outage under Consolidated Edison Company of New York's RPM.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on June 18, 2008, adopted an order approving a new definition of Major Outage on a network under Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.'s Reliability Performance Mechanism, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.

No changes.
