    Transfer of Property by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject, in whole or in part, a petition by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid (National Grid) requesting authorization for the transfer of certain utility property and for related relief.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 70
    Subject:
    Transfer of property.
    Purpose:
    To allow National Grid to transfer ownership of utility transformers.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, reject or modify, in whole or in part, a request by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid (National Grid) for authority under Section 70 of the Public Service Law to transfer ownership of certain transformers. The transformers would be transferred pursuant to the terms of the Spare Transformer Sharing Agreement that National Grid entered into as part of it's participation in the Edison Electric Institute Spare Transformer Equipment Program.
