PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a proposed filing by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation to make various changes in the rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its Schedule for Electric Service, P.S.C. No. 15—Electricity.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Revenue Sharing Agreement.
Purpose:
To modify General Information Section 29 - Energy Cost Adjustment Mechanism.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering a proposal filed by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation (Central Hudson) to modify the Energy Cost Adjustment Mechanism to reflect the expiration of the Purchased Power Agreement and the commencement of the Revenue Sharing Agreement. The proposed filing has an effective date of December 1, 2011. The Commission may adopt in whole or in part, modify or reject Central Hudson's proposal. The Commission may apply aspects of its decision here to the requirements for tariffs of other utilities.
