PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering Beekman Water Company, Inc.'s request to modify its petition filed on February 22, 2013, to establish a $30,400 escrow account to be funded in one year via a $25 per quarter surcharge to all customers.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, sections (4)1, 5(1)(f), 89-c(1) and (10)
Subject:
Escrow account and surcharge to fund extraordinary repairs.
Purpose:
To approve the establishment of an escrow account and surcharge.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject, in whole or in part, a modification to Beekman Water Company, Inc.’s (Beekman) petition filed on February 22, 2013. Beekman is requesting to establish a $30,400 escrow account to be funded in one year via a $25 per quarter surcharge to all customers. This account will be used to fund extraordinary repairs. The Commission may resolve related matters and may take this action for other utilities.
